We have pushed a new release candidate (RC)

This RC is mainly aimed at augmenting our new corechart package with additional functionality and some minor bug fixes

Candidate release date: August 5

Anticipated production release date: August 11

New features and bug fixes:

  1. Our brand new core charts package was improved by:
    • Enabling top and bottom positioning of the legend.
    • Improved label layout when charts are textually overloaded (automatically switching to alternating labels and slanted text when necessary).
    • Pie Chart: now provides an option for 3D and for formatting the texts on the slices and the tooltips.
    • Better handling of error notifications across all charts.
    • Several bug fixes including addressing the memory leak that occurred when redrawing charts.
  2. Fixed bug in Geomap where two letter codes where wrongly assumed to be region codes.

If your system uses the Visualization API for commercial and / or important production purposes we recommend you test the RC and use the opportunity to provide feedback to us prior to the production release. If there are any issues, these can be communicated back to our team by replying to this message.
