Sidebar Creation Issue

I wonder whether someone may be able to help me please.
 
I've put together this page which allows the user to view markers on the map pertinent to the check boxes which they select and deselect.
 
What I'm trying to do, in addition to the markers appearing on the map is to create a sidebar underneath the checkboxes which shows the details of the markers shown on the map.
 
This is where I have the problem. I can't tie in the selection and deselection of the check boxes with the creation of the sidebar. In fact I just can't get the sidebar to render.
 
I've been working on this for nearly two weeks now, and I just seem to be going round in circles.
 
I just wondered whether it was at all possible that someone could take a look at this please and tell me where I've gone wrong.

Take a look at what? A link to your map that exhibits the problem
might yield results.

Hi Larry, firstly, many thanks for replying to my post, secondly sincere apologies for the links not working.

I've now rectified this and the links are now working.

All, sincere apologies I thought I'd sorted the issue out.

 

Anyway this is the page that I started out with. If you select the 'Test Location 2' from the left hand sidebar, select '25' from the drop down menu on the right of the page and click 'Select Locations', you'll see a sidebar created which gives you the POI's within the radius selected.

 

What I'd like to do is change the format of the left hand sidebar to match the one on the right. I thought that this was going to be straight forward, but I just can't seem to get it to work.

 

This is what I've done so far. I can get the markers to appear and disappear upon selection and deselection of the check boxes, but I can't get the sidebar to work.

 

Once again apologies for the errors with the links.
