I searched the extremely long and annoying GC thread on the ZC forums
without avail. Table rate shipping only adds the handling fee. Even on
the default table rate install table numbers. Does anyone have table
rate shipping working in their ZC w/GC?
TIA,
~Jordan

Same question here. The weird thing is, it worked before, but stopped
working in the last few weeks.

Thank you for your email. I understand that you have currently
integrated
with Google Checkout through Zen Cart and are experiencing problems
with
the calculation of shipping cost in your account

This issue is apparently occurring because the shipping tags are not
correctly implemented into your Checkout API request. To perform
custom
calculations for an order before your customer confirms a purchase,
you
must include the <merchant-calculations-url> tag in your Checkout API
request. The <merchant-calculations-url> tag's value is the URL to
which
Google Checkout will send requests for merchant calculations.
See the page
http://code.google.com/apis/checkout/developer/Google_Checkout_XML_API_Merchant_Calculations_API.html#merchant_calculations_shipping
for reference on this issue.

Because Zen Cart has integrated your Google Checkout solution, they
are
best able to address the causes of this issue. Please forward this
information regarding the errors that you are receiving to Zen Cart
for
the fastest resolution to this issue.

Please feel free to reply to this email if you need any clarification
on
the errors that you are currently experiencing.

It just gets weirder. There are two stores, running on the same
server. php.ini is setup the same.
Caching, directories, sessions, the whole lot is identical (obviously
not in the same place, though, I mean different accounts!). I've been
over and over it again and again, right down to permissions on folders
and removing then re-installing shipping, payment and postage
methods.
I've checked the product types, the tax locations, the store location,
the customer type. I really just DO NOT UNDERSTAND why this ONE store
has suddenly decided to have problems on it's own. I'm up to £700 of
my time (if I think about it like that!) and I just can't think of
anything else to do now.
I've looked in the error log, and the GC console, and everything is
fine - it's just not sending the postage data.

Jonathan,

Too bad GC support could not have narrowed it down more for you. Please
note GC now promotes their own shopping cart services, and no longer
actively provides any development or support for the GC for ZC mod.

I have not been following this thread. Can you provide an example or two
of what kind of postage methods, and for which shipping providers, which
does not work on the problem shop? And do any postage methods work on
the problem shop?

Do you have a separate SSL certificate purchased and set-up
independently for each shop URL, that is are you sharing the same SSL
cert for two different URL's?

Do you have a different callback (response handler) URL set-up in your
two different Google Checkout accounts (one for each shop)? Or are you
using the same GC account with both shops?

Do you have a separate Zen Cart database for each shop or are you
sharing same DB and have different table prefix for each shop?

Do you see any errors in your server error log that may be relevant?

Have you had an opportunity to test your shop with any of the tools Ropu
left behind at:

http://demo.globant.com/~brovagnati/tools/

specifically:
http://demo.globant.com/~brovagnati/tools/responsehandler_test.php

If you're still not able top solve post for BOTH the shop where postage
is working, and for the shop where postage is not working:
1. example order XML (pull from GC log and obfuscate any private info
before posting)
2. shipping table (as configured in GC mod)
3. Version of GC mod and version of Zen Cart running on each.
4. the URL for both of your shops.

Difficult to help troubleshoot without the shop URL ;-)
