What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launching Google Earth (0.7.0?) under Ubuntu 12.10 32 bits
2. Welcome window appears
3. Nothing more

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Log file is attached.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Ubuntu 12.10 32 bits
