Hi,

Wonder if anyone here can help me. I'm having a hard time getting my
latest posts to show up in Blogsearch results. Maybe someone here
knows why?

This is a recent problem; before this month I had no problems with
Google Blogsearch finding my latest blog posts. Now, I can't seem to
get Blogsearch to acknowledge that my most current posts even exist.

Strangely enough, if I search by post title in Google's web search
(google.com) I can find the most recent posts there.

Any clue why this is happening? I have tried pinging Blogsearch with a
couple different feed addresses for my blog, but am not sure this has
helped.

By the way, my blog address is:

http://financetrends.blogspot.com

Thanks!
David

I have the same problem with my blog. It only finds stuff from
several months ago. Certain keywords even have my blog appear in the
"Related Blogs" list above the results, but new posts still won't come
up. Sometimes a new post will appear for a few hours after it was
created, then it will disappear again. It cannot be found in either
relevancy or date rankings.

Of course, maybe I just can't find it among all the freaking SPAM.
Earlier tonight it was 5 pages of results, all of which were fake DVD
review SPLOGs, before I found a legit blog post.

I wish I had an answer, but at least we both know it's not just
ourselves this happens to.

I made a blog post last night; it showed up in Google Blog Search for
about 12 hours, and now it is gone completely. The relevancy ranking
results returned to what they were before, and the date results no
longer find it either.

David,

We are having some problems with your blog that we're still
debugging. We have most of your recent posts in the index. At the
moment, it looks like the two most recent ones are not getting
returned. There was an earlier problem that caused us to stop
crawling your blog entirely. We fixed that just before Christmas. I
was just checking on your blog to confirm that the fix is working when
I noticed that we're again missing a few posts. We'll definitely look
into it.

I forgot to mention that I'm seeing the same problem with Kyle's blog.

Hi:

I too have noticed this with my blog http://thestilettoblog.com/

I am so relieved it's not just me! Is the debugging a global fix or do
you have to go case-by-case as bloggers bring the issue to your
attention?

This is still happening. I made a post last night, it was #1 in the
relevancy ranking for about 16 hours. Now the relevancy results have
returned to what they were 2-3 days ago (and have been with few
changes for at least 6 weeks) and my post from yesterday does not
appear in the date results either.

And now it is even worse. GBS only finds a post of mine from back in
early December; everything else has vanished in the date and relevancy
rankings. I don't know what has been done to the search algorithms,
but to put it simply, they suck.
