Hello everyone,

I am trying to install PyDev on Eclipse, but the URL http://pydev.sourceforge.net/updates/ is facing some problems.

Could you please suggest some alternate site for the same.

Thanks.

Did you try to download the Aptana Studio 3?

Hi,

I've create a ubuntu package for pydev, so if you are using Ubuntu
10.10/04, and also has installed eclipse from repository, you can
easily install it using apt-get.

Follow the steps bellow:

# sudo add-apt-repository ppa:daniloqueiroz/dev
# sudo apt-get update
# sudo apt-get install eclipse-pydev

For more information check out https://launchpad.net/~daniloqueiroz/+archive/dev

I'll second the Aptana Studio 3 recommendation. I just recently
discovered it myself. It's basically a custom build of Eclipse with
PyDev built in, plus HTML and JavaScript editors. First few days
running it have been good.
