incoming XMPP down for app engine?

Me too.My robot based on GAE went offline for a few hours.

heard anything from anyone.

looks like the problem was googletalk being down ....

No, it wasn't. I was logged in on my GMail/GTalk account while my "bot" was
offline:
x...@appspot.com is offline and can't receive messages right now.

While we are on this topic: maybe it would be a good idea to enable queuing
of messages while XMPP service is offline, so "bot" would be able to reply
after it comes back online?

me too. all GAE bot return 503 while sending xmpp msg.
