From approximately 12:55pm to 3:50pm Pacific Time, App Engine
experienced an issue processing changes to the definition of datastore
indexes. This did not affect application data or users, but developers
attempting to deploy a new version of the application code, or update
the index definitions would have received 500 error codes. This
problem has now been fixed and developers should be able to
successfully deploy or update their indexes successfully at this time.
