Today, App Engine will undergo maintenance at 6pm PST (GMT-8) for approximately 30 minutes for a hardware upgrade.
During this period all App Engine apps will revert to read-only mode, and all datastore writes and transactions will throw an exception. If you'd like to modify your app to catch this exception see our Groups post:
