I believe that Ale Martinez has already completed the translations
for Spanish.
Gareth. Shall we create features for each of the translations on the
issue tracker? We can post the current .ts files there so folks
don't have to clone the source. Once we get volunteers we can
assign the issues to keep track.
Thoughts?

We'd love to have a Chinese translation. We are currently trying to
update translations in the master branch of the git repository for a
release of version 2.1
If you are familiar with QtLinguist please go ahead and generate a
new .ts file. If not, let us know and we can generate a file for
you to add your translations to.
Thanks,
Jamie

Garreth and I were just discussing the need to have the translation
process documented.
Perhaps soem of the translators could add something to the developer
guide section of the wiki.
essentially we send you a .ts file, which is an XML file containing
all of the lines that need translation. You can edit this using 1)
QtLinguist (part of the QT SDK or as a standalone) 2) Using
Trasniflex webservice, 3. any text editor.
Options 1 and 2 are certainly the easiest. option two allows for
collaborative efforts among several translators for one language.
I've never used Transiflex so am at a bit of a loss on how to set
things up there.
Jamie
I have been speaking to Gareth and he helped me get all set up. I am already
translating using QTlinguist, which has been really easy. I am more than
happy to write for the developer section, as well as possibly writing
tutorials, introductions maybe even a translation of the webpage. I can also
help out in German if there is any need.
Cheers,
Thomas
Thanks for offering help. Any improvements/additions are greatly
appreciated and will certainly help.
If you create an account at http://bugs.goldencheetah.org/ I'll give
you permissions to edit the Wiki.
Thanks,
