Andrew here, checking in from northern California. We've been pretty
busy up here with trailwork for the Shastaram DH race. Myself and
three friends took care of constructing a significant portion of the
race course, adding some drops, ladders, a sick road gap, and a pretty
fun box feature at the bottom of the course. I've attached a link to
some photos of the stuff we built, check it out and let me know what
you think. The features we built are similar to some of the things
that could be built in the grove if the project is approved.
Upon completion of the race we were invited to continue work on the
mountain and develop a super D, dual slalom course, and finish out the
DH course. Work should be comencing in less than a month. The race
is in October and you can count on some of us making a road trip up to
the race when it goes down. I'll keep everyone posted when the date
draws near.
