Hi

I subscribe to many mailing lists in GMail, all of which have a
mailing-list header. However when I click reply on a message received
from the list, it will compose a message to the original author. When
I click "reply to all" it replies to both the original author AND the
list. Neither of these behaviours are correct, when I click reply on a
list message it should reply to the list, not any individual.

Thanks

David

you need to get your listadmins to change the list settings rather
than force gmail to make the change. i'm a listadmin for a number of
lists.

I definitely don't agree.
List admin could say exactly the same thing. An RFC-compliant mail
agent should support Reply to List feature, as it standardized and
provided by unique headers. Think of mutt, pine, even Thunderbird
offers you this chance.

I'd like to see a "reply to list" button, separate from the two
existing buttons.
