ANNUAL CANADIAN BABY SEAL SLAUGHTER BEGINS SOON

PROTEST SEAL FUR NEW YORK CITY - FIFTH AVENUE
SATURDAY, January 26th

In a few short weeks, off the eastern coast of Canada,
the annual seal slaughter will turn the ice bright red
with the blood of murdered innocents. Thousands of
baby seals, some just weeks old, will be bludgeoned
with hakapics (wooden clubs with sharp metal hooks at
the tip) and some will be skinned alive, with their
mothers close by, bellowing in fear, anger and
frustration. In the past 3 years, Canadian killers
have taken the lives of approximately 1,000,000 baby
seals. Despite global public outcry the slaughter
will continue this Spring.

On Saturday, January 26th, activists will visit the
stores of fashion designers who sell seal fur
products. We will let these designers know that they
cannot support the massacre of baby seals and still do
business on the streets of New York City. At the same
time, we will continue our crusade to make it
unbearable to wear fur on the sidewalks of New York.
We will be moving from location to location, so make
sure to dress comfortably and to wear good walking
shoes.

banners or literature...we have all of that (unless of
course you have something you want to bring, then by
all means bring it along). All you need is your
passion and a loud voice to speak up for the animals.
