I released Fluentd v0.10.29. This release improves out_exec_filter.

* out_exec_filter supports out_format option.

  You can use JSON ('json') and MessagePack ('msgpack') formats for the output format of a command.

  Thus you don't have to set out_keys option in the configuration file.

* out_exec_filter supports in_format option.

  You can use JSON ('json') and MessagePack ('msgpack') formats for the input format of a command.

  Thus you don't have to set in_keys option in the configuration file.
