Firebug tab always closing on page reload

Since the last FF Update to 3.6.15 I've got a big problem with Firebug
1.6.2...

When reloading a page FB is always closed...

Which means, I cannot debug JS any more, nor can I see the loading
timeline....

Before that all worked perfectly well.

Same here, debugging/monitoring Flash communication is impossible,
too.
On some websites FB remembers it's activation state, on others not. If
I activate FB and reload the page, it's deactivated again.

Most of the time the cause is Firefox setting "Never Remember
History", that prevents Firebug from remembering which site you want
to debug. The apparent inconsistency comes because users open some
sites before setting that Firefox option, and those sites activate
normally.

If that is not your problem, let us know.

I'm afraid firefox is set to remember history, but the tab is still
closing on me.
You say "Most of the time", do you know any other alterative which
cause firebug to close?

This is happening to me as well. My firefox has "Remember history" set
under the privacy tab, so that is not the cause. I just upgraded to
Firefox version 3.6.15. I depend a lot on Firebug so any help would
be appreciated.

If you have Firecookie extension installed, update to version 1.2.1
(there was a bug causing the same problem)
