Romena, What sort of books do you need? Are there school alumni here in the US that you may know and who might be able to help ship the books to you. There are lots of good used books that we can access thru US schools but the cost of freight is expensive. We can gather titles according to your specific needs,  warehouse them here in California free of charge courtesy of our Bookshop and prepare them for shipment, but someone has to pay for  the freight. If you know of balikbayans and OFWs from your area that  we can tap, our office can do that for you. Need the name, tel and email.  Hear from you. You may contact Asia Foundation, Rotary Club of Makati, Books for the Barrios and other givernment agencies.Write to all departments (DOH, DENR, ETC) and all foreign embassies in our country. Also surf the internet of schools that donate books to third wrld countries. Good luck.
