To create a person must:
  • Have knowledge but forget the knowledge;
  • See unexpected connections in things but not have a mental disorder;
  • Work hard but spend time doing nothing;
  • Create many ideas yet most of them are useless;
  • Look at the same thing as everyone else, yet see something different;
  • Desire success but learn how to fail;
  • Be persistent but not stubborn; and,
  • Listen to experts but know how to disregard them

What other creativity paradoxes can you add to this list?

Wow,thanks Ed!

I love every creativity paradox you pointed out!!!

Though I can't think of any others to add on the list,I have love
paradoxes to share with you all:

-This is the miracle which happens everytime to those who really
love:
The more they give,the more they possess.

-To love the paradox occurs that 2 beings become 1 and yet remains 2.

So sorry for having been absent for such a long while,but as Ed and
some older members like Pablo,Mikhail and Andre have known,I am quite
active on facebook...

I would like to invite those who haven't known it yet that Global
English Forum on facebook is another group where I,together with at
least another 9 English teachers, have been involved in helping all
learners from all over the world.

If you need any help or advice and can't find anyone available to help
you with,be sure to post your questions there!
Simply click on the facebook trademark on the top,and it will link you
straight there!;-)

Great weekend,everyone!
