Previous  time issue on FreePDK integration  in Bugzilla

Now days FreePDK is lisenced under terms and conditions which look like to be not so constraintive for use it foe intrgration. See quotation below:
"The FreePDK^TM process design kit is an open-source, Open-Access-based PDK for the 45nm technology node and the Predictive Technology Model. It is distributed under the Apache Open Source License, Version 2.0. "

Could Electric officially  support FreePDK now? At least integrating design rules?

Gavin Abo <gs...@crimson.ua.edu>: Mar 12 11:58AM -0700 When writing the Spice deck, before clicking the Save button, select "All Files" for the "Files of type", then enter your "File name" with the .cir extension [ http://www.ee.virginia.edu/~mrs8n/electric/Tutorial1.htm ].   If you already saved the the Spice deck file with the .spi extension, then just change the file extension to .cir [ http://myweb.wit.edu/johnsont/Classes/632/ELEC632Lab6Simulation.htm ].   I believe that should work if you were able to set the settings in "Spice/CDL Preferences" [ http://www.staticfreesoft.com/jmanual/mchap09-04-03.html ] such that it outputted the Spice deck file in a format compatible with your Spice software.   On 3/6/2016 11:07 AM, JoséGómez wrote:
