Folks,
We've rented a house for the first two weeks of July in the Kingdom
Trails, Vermont [1], and everyone is invited!
Kingdom Trails is widely recognized one of the best mountain biking
destinations in the country. Trails tend toward flow rather than
technical, and there's a great mix for beginners to experts.
The surrounding area (East Burke, VT), also has plenty of beautiful
country side for road riding. Terrain is mostly rolling farmland,
with a few bigger climbs and small towns sprinkled around.
The goal is just to get people from all over to come hang out and ride
together. We expect groups of people will do road, MTB, and both.
It's not a formal camp or clinic and there's no set schedule, but we
look forward to veterans leading outings for newer riders and so on.
The house sleeps 18 and is going to run $15 per person per night.
Mountain biking requires a KTA pass, $15/day or $75/year, well worth
it for some of the best and most well maintained trails around.
Everyone will be largely on their own for breakfast and
lunch---ideally at a mid-ride general store!---but with (optional)
group dinners most evenings, subsidized by the conference and the
remainder covered by everyone chipping in.
If you are interested, you should fill out this form:

We're taking sign-ups until May 15, at which point we'll start
figuring out a schedule that accommodates everyone as best as possible
and taking deposits to secure places.
Get on it!
