I sent myself e-mail using the "send email from this address" feature
and when I received it, I noted the "From" line was formated thusly:
Smith, William J. [stea...@dd499.e4ward.com] Where Smith, William J.
is the display name used by the e-Mail client I used to send the
message. e4ward didn't disclose my e-mail address but it did disclose
my name. This isn't particularly helpful. Any solution to disguising
the name as well?

JustMe,

E4ward currently leaves the display name as whatever you configured
into your mail client. You can always go into your mail client
settings and set the display name to whatever you want your recipients
to see.

OK, thanks. That's kinda what I was expecting. That will put e4ward out
of consideration for my needs which focus on anonymity rather than spam
protection. I don't need anything like a proxy service and an absolute
guarantee of security, just need to remain anonymouse to the casual
observer. Any possibility of a filter being built in to strip certain
words or phrases?
