$python manage.py syncdb

throws cx_Oracle.DatabaseError: ORA-00911: invalid character

I currently have the latest trunk release checked out (4939) and I'm
also using cx_Oracle 4.3.

I don't get any errors when I issue:

$python manage.py sqlall <app name>

The problem exists in Release 0.96.1 which was builded after the backmerge
of the oracle-sprint, isn't it ?

No, the 0.96 release was tagged at revision 4810 and the Boulder sprint
branch didn't get merged to trunk until 5519, quite a bit later.
True 0.96.1 was built after that, but it only contains essential security
fixes on top of the 0.96 base, nothing else.
