I have 3.6 version and sometimes I receive a message that
says"insufficient free space". 1 checked 4.7GB box and also 8GB box to
no avail. Message refers to MB, not GB.How do I d/l a newer version? I
am using kubuntu jaunty. What DeVeDe version should I use? i'm new to
Linux so any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

I just downloaded DeVeDe a couple of days ago so I can't answer your
question about why you're getting the message about insufficient
space. However, you can get the latest versiuon (3.14) here:
www.rastersoft.com/programas/devede.html. If no one responds to your
question here, try the Multimedia section of the Ubuntu forum:
http://ubuntuforums.org/.

Make sure you are saving the temp. files on a partition with enough
free space. Go to your options (preferences) and change your temp
files directory to one with enough room to hold the temporary files
devede uses.

The 4,7GB and 8GB boxes are only to specify if you are using a 4.7GB
DVD disc or a 8GB DVD disc. The free space you need is to store
temporary files, and must be, at least, twice the final DVD size if
you erase temporary files, or three times if you don't erase them.
Also you must choose a partition with, at least, that size, when
creating the DVD.

Read the instructions for more details.

I am also getting the same error. It may not be due to not
enough space because the message simply says that the Disk failed to
be created and suggested that it might be a lack of space.

I generated the log to OUTPUT.TXT and here is what I have I am
running UBUNTU 9.04 and I have the 3.14 version of the
software. Any suggestions. I suspect that there is something
wrong with my installation but I am not sure what I may need to look
at. Thanks.
