You could always use a pre=made wireless->wifi booster (or just a
straight up 3g/4g booster) from
sparkfun.com, or go a little more pro
and buy something that turns it into a hotspot. Fonero has a great
model that works with most carriers but there's a new one on the
market for under 20 bucks USD (though it's shipped fro the UK) -

Check it out. Just make sure you have the unlimited data plan
first. :P
If it's just indoor cell service you need extended you can get yet
again a cheapo home-made one from boulder's own
sparkfun.com or a
professional one like this for $50, works with all carriers -

I know the sparkfun version doesn't register with specific phones
until you actually use it... so multipe people can be on their phones
through the repeater at the same time.
