convert errlog

Hello,

Is there a way to convert the errlog into some type of readable format
without have to use errpt. The reason I want to do this is because some of
the Veritas error messages are reported with a large amount of sense key
data and when converted to ASCII test equals an actual error message that
gets logs in /var/adm/messages on a Solaris system and thus not have to
convert the hex sense data to ASCII data.

yes. there is a way by adding an odm entry. For every new event that
comes, you can do an action for that event, such as running logger
command and hence using syslog facility via which you can direct your
message to an ascii file defined via syslog.conf.
