Dear All,
I know it is only the last day of November but due to my recent move,
I don't know if I will find enough time to write this in December.

2010 was the "vintage" year:
- scans of plenty of documents, reviews and magazines
- the Apple cassettes catalog list (now 529 with manuals also)
- GS/OS internals PDF book
...and for the programming part:
- the Sword of Sodan 2010 demo release
- updates on MountIt
and that's it!

2011 will be the "programming" year:
- Fishhead or Batchman, the caped crusader
- some other IIgs coding ideas
...and for the vintage part:
- go on with the cassette catalog (I have nearly 200 tapes now)
- build the Apple II French catalog
- still try to gather French underground materials

(and probably some cracking practice)

That was an interesting year, less programming than expected but that
takes time, that's for sure!

Thanks for reading,
Antoine

I did experiments with tape loaders, ProDOS-8, the Apple ][ firmware and
the Apple /// during 2010. xD

I think my main focus for 2011 will be the IBM XT, but don't think I'm
abandoning the Apple ][! (I went IBM in 1992. Didn't stop using the
Apple when able though, and started using emulation in the late 90s)

Antoine,

Thanks for your work for 'the cause' in 2010.

I also appreciate your help and kind words on my IIGS Slot Register project.

Please add one request to your 2011 list:

I made the mistake of taking 4 years of Spanish in high school, rather than
mixing in a little French.

Then I downloaded your Flaming Bird disassembler and fully realized the
folly of my ways.

Any chance of an English version or cheat sheet for The Bird? From your
prior posts, I gather you think very highly of it.

Wouldn't you rather see a Spanish translation?

Or you could just man up and learn French. ;-)

Now that you've got a motivation. :-)

Upon popular request and thanks to my company's intranet version of
Reverso (see reverso.net), download a (basic, raw...) translation of
the flaming bird disassembler documentation files are available @
http://www.brutal-deluxe.fr/products/french/tfbd/

There are four files per documentation:
- tfbd_xx.docx, the original French version
- tfbd_xx.pdf, the same version as a PDF
- tfbd_xx_tr.docx, the translated in English version
- tfbd_xx_tr.pdf, the same translated version as a PDF

Any reviewer out there?

Touché gentlemen. Well done.

I think I laughed all afternoon.

Frankly, I must say that these days I'm doing well to order lunch at Taco
Bell. And that's by number.

Great idea, but I'll need to check with my wife first.
