I've had 2 epsons in the past, they both failed with blocked heads.
Repeated cleaning cycles didn't help, nor did stripping them out for a
soak. It's possible that they are not blocked but failed. I have read
elsewhere that the elements in the head need an ink flow to provide
cooling. They are quite fragile, so don't try pumping solvent through
them with a squirter. You might find some tips at
<http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/>. My solution was HP. they give you a
print head with each cartridge!

Hi

You could try Arthur Entlich for advice (Google or this site for contact),
he will send you a cleaning manual that may help you. If he fails you have
little chance of resolving your problem
Good luck

Why not drop Art (Arthur Entlich) an email requesting his free
cleaning instructions, you will see his 'keyboard tappings' up and
down these pages, e-mail him at-:

e-printerhelp(@)mvps(.)org

removing the brackets leaving no spaces, he'll get back to you as soon
as he can, other than that you could always try using Epson cleaning
cartridges but at an expense that may not work.

This could well be an interesting post, because India I would expect
to have a much warmer climate and maybe a much higher humidity than
say we are in the UK or maybe Canada for example.

The reason I say this is because Durabrite inks dry much quicker thus,
the ability of clogging being much greater - could be entirely wrong
but sure does sound interesting.

If so, wonder if these things was considered during their development,
Durabrite and global climatic conditions I mean...?

Hi Raj,

Please contact me privately via email as shown below. I have a manual
which is fairly effective in getting Epson printers up and running
again. Please mention the model(s) in your email.

You will not be spammed by me, i do not sell names/emails, I do not
charge for this service.
