ANNOUNCE: eTcl 1.0-rc0 released - v8.4.13 core and MacOSX universal binaries

I'm pleased to announce immediate availability of 1.0-rc0 for
Windows, Linux, Windows Mobile (2003, 2003SE and 5.0) pocketPC and
smartphones, and now Mac OS X (Aqua) as universal binary (x86 and PPC).

WHAT'S NEW

- Tcl/Tk core updated to 8.4.13
- New versioning numbering scheme, independant from Tcl/Tk own scheme
- Tls 1.5 support on all platform (including WinCE), with no external
dependencies (an OpenSSL instance is linked statically in).
- Scene extension, a simple 3D widget based on OpenGL
- Windows installer, using InnoSetup
- MacOSX bundle, universal binary
- Sqlite updated to 3.3.5
- Tkwinico updated to 0.6
- Automatic selection of terminal (TTY) vs. graphical (Tk console)
mode on Linux and MacOSX (based on stdin type)
- Many bug fixes
