Poet (Prototype Object Extension for Tcl) is an object-oriented
extension to Tcl/Tk that features prototype-based inheritance,
constraints, and persistence. It includes Poetics (Poet Integrated
Construction Set), a set of tools allowing the end-user to inspect
and modify a running Poet application.

This release adds support for Tcl/Tk 8.5b1. The slideshow
program I used to demo Poet at Tcl'2007 is included as an
example of how to set up and wrap a Poet application. A
few additional Tk widgets have been assimilated, and a few
bugs have been fixed.

I should say that Phil gave an excellent talk/paper and demo
of Poet at Tcl 2007. It seems to be quite a powerful system.
It's on my list of stuff to look at.
