A2/WIN: New version of AppleWin available

I am pleased to announce the availability of a new beta test version of
AppleWin, the Apple //e Emulator for Windows. AppleWin is a fully 32-bit
program which targets Windows 95 and NT 3.5. It can also run on Windows 3.1
through the use of the Win32s extension libraries. AppleWin requires a 486
or better processor.

Here is some more information for those of you who are not familiar with
AppleWin:

Emulated computer - Extended Keyboard ("Platinum") Apple //e
Emulated memory - 128k RAM, 20k ROM
Emulated video modes - 40 and 80 column text; lo-res, hi-res, and double
hi-res graphics; mixed modes
Joystick support - PC joystick, keyboard, or mouse
Sound support - PC speaker or waveform device (sound card)
Disk image support - DOS order, ProDOS order, nibblized (auto-detecting)
Saving to disk images supported
On-the-fly swapping of disk images supported

This new version of AppleWin is available through anonymous FTP to
ftp.netcom.com, in the directory /pub/ap/applewin. Before running AppleWin,
please be sure to read the included README file.
