Hi,

If I get say 2 types of errors and DIVA reports 100 Type A and 2 Type B
errors and all Im interested in is to see the Type B errors .. do I have to
skip the 100 Type A errors one by one or is it possible to get a listing at
pick which errors to show or to delete ??

Best,

Jan

No, there is no control over the sequence you see the markers beyond the
selecting the type and error/warning. Assura has a fairly nice error
interface which lets you see markers by the rule they came from. It also
has a hide feature so markers can be ignored, and remain ignored in
future runs.

What you can do is to put error layer into LSW and make a search for
all the markers which are not interesting for you, than delete them.
Note: you will need to search all the shapes with "drcWhy" property
equal to the "uninteresting" error message.

Regards,

Robert

I've attached some rather elderly code which does this. It's not
particularly beautiful, but it works...

Needless to say, the code is not supported by Cadence, but uses
entirely public functions.

Andrew.

Hmm, not sure the attachment worked then, so I'll try again in a different news

reader.

Andrew,

Thanks! I was going to have to go write this myself otherwise. :-)
