On the 8th Anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan --

BRING ALL THE TROOPS HOME NOW!!

The majority of Americans now oppose the war in Afghanistan. But instead of listening to us, the Obama administration is sending 21,000 more troops. Why? Like the war in Iraq, this war is not bringing human rights or democracy — only more suffering.

That's why here in Chicago and across the U.S., people are protesting Washington's war in Afghanistan, and its spread into neighboring Pakistan. The money spent on war would be better spent on improving healthcare, education, jobs, and the environment. It's time to demand that all the troops come home now.

Please join us for a march near President Obama's house:

1 PM
Saturday, Oct. 3rd

Harold Washington Park
E. 53rd Street & S. Hyde Park Blvd.

Organized by the Chicago Committee to Bring the Troops Home Now
