Occupy Midwest & Black Mesa Water Coalition vs. Peabody Coal
Coal mining is not only harmful to those who must suffer the asthma and acid rain downwind of coal-fired power plants, but the mines themselves have devastating impact on the environment.  Worse, in the Southwest they are part of a racist, neocolonial project to dispossess Native American peoples of the few lands remaining to them.  In this short video, we document an action by Midwest Occupy in solidarity with the Diné people.
