REMINDER: New USCIS Application and Petition Fees Go Into Effect on Nov. 23, 2010: The N-400 Naturalization application for U.S. citizenship base fee of $595 will remain the same; however, the fingerprinting fee will increase by $5 increasing the total fee from $675 to $680.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) reminds customers that its new fee schedule goes into effect Nov. 23, 2010.  The new fee schedule increases application and petition fees by an average of about 10 percent but does not increase the naturalization application fee. Applications or petitions with a postmark (or date of delivery if via courier service) on or after November 23 must include the new fee, or they will be rejected.
