After 15 days of hunger strike, Rev. Jose Landaverde was hospitalized
today, Friday, at Cook County. He can't continue the strike due to his
diabetis and weakness. Howeve, Salome D'Amezcue stepped forward and
declared she will fast for three days, and Artemio Arreola will fast
another three days after that. You can visit Salome at the Nuestra
Senora de Guadalupe Mission, 3442 W. 26th St. over the wekend.
