Amalia Pallares ama...@uic.eduHi all. I am part of a UIC research team that is conducting an exit poll in Chicago area neighborhoods with a high percentage of immigrant population. We are researching immigrants' political views, attitudes towards elections, and levels of partisan support, especially in relationship to immigration policy. We are working together with ICIRR and Univision. We are seeking volunteers of all ages willing to work six hours on election day and to attend a two hour training session on October 23. For those who cannot attend the training session we will plan an alternate one for a later date. Shifts are from 7am to 1pm and from 1pm to 7 pm. Volunteers will be fed and their transportation will be reimbursed. This is an exciting opportunity for those who want to experience election research first hand. Interested peole can contact Nereida Salas at
