630 965-0145In response to the nearly 400,000 deportations last year, the 1,000 deportations each week in Chicagoland, and the wake of Latino families devasted around Dupage County by firings and housing discrimination- -all while ICE enjoys a budget of $6 billion dollars-- suburban Latinos have organized ¡MARCHA DuPAGE!, a march for immigrant justice.
¡MARCHA DuPAGE!, will be the first immigrant rights march in DuPage County organized by Latino community activists from parishes and grassroots
organizations in the county. The event begins at 9am with a rally at St. Isidore Parish, on the corner of Gary Ave. and Army Trail Rd. in Bloomingdale. Later, participants will begin a trek through Bloomingdale and Glendale Heights toward the office of Congressman Peter Roskam, 150 S. Bloomingdale Rd. Bloomingdale, for a rally and the delivery of a letter calling for a just immigration reform based on human rights and labor mobility.
Among participants will be the parishioners of St. Joseph in Addison along with Father Luis Gutierrez; the parishioners of St. Isidore in Bloomingdale along with Deacon Guadalupe Villareal; Rita Gonzalez of the Dupage County Board; Immigrant Solidarity Dupage along with special guests from Chicago and across the suburbs.

Tras 388,000 deportaciones en el año pasado, 1,000 deportaciones en Chicago y el condado de Dupage cada semana y con un presupuesto de ICE de $6 mil milliones de dolares organizadores suburbanos convocan una marcha-- ¡MARCHA DuPAGE!--
para exigir justicia por los inmigrantes indocumentados.
¡MARCHA DuPAGE! sera la primera marcha pro-inmigrante realizada por activistas latinos de parroquias y organizaciones de base en el condado de Dupage. El evento empieza a las 9am con un rally con musica y oradores en la parroquia San Isidoro (esquina de la Gary y la Army Trail) en Bloomingdale. Luego, participantes marcharan por Bloomingdale y Glendale Heights hacia la oficina del congresista Peter Roskam, (6to distrito)
150 S. Bloomingdale Rd, para una protesta y la entrega de una carta exigiendo una reforma migratoria que se basa en derechos humanos y la movilidad de labor.
