Madres y familias afectadas por las leyes actuales de inmigración: se les llama a conferencia de prensa el día 19 de agosto, a las 10:30 de la mañana en la Plazita Manuel Pérez (ubicada en las calles 26 y Kolin). Estamos llamando esta conferencia de prensa para apoyar la marcha del 7 de septiembre, Día del Trabajo, para exigirle al presidente Obama una reforma migratoria inmediata que nos reunifique con nuestros esposos e hijos. Madre de familia Maria Leon dice que ya no se puede vivir en esta situación de polimigra e injusticia. Nuestros hijos ciudadanos estadounidenses merecen el derecho de vivir como cualquier ciudadano con sus padres y sin temor de su gobierno. Llamamos esta conferencia de prensa para convocar a todos los medios de prensa y a la comunidad a la marcha del día 7 de septiembre, Dia del Trabajo.

Mothers and families afected by the current immigration laws: you are called to a press conference on August 19, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at the Plazita Manuel Pérez (located at 26th street and Kolin). We are calling this press conference to support the immigration march and rally on Labor Day, September 7, 2009, to demand from President Obama an immediate immigration reform to reunite us with our husbands and sons. Maria Leon, Chicagoan and mother, insists that the current situation of injustice and criminalization of immigration is unliveable. Our U.S. citizen children deserve the right to live as any other citizen child with both parents and without fear of their government. We call this press conference to convoke all media outlets and the community to the immigration march and rally on September 7, 2009, Labor Day.
