Standing Up For Their Rights
-Fighting For Legalization-
On May 1st 2010 we marched with thousands of our friends demanding a legalization for all. The Youth has made the immigration movement stronger than ever.
May Day marks a turning point in our movement. No more promises, no more deadlines. We must confront the oppressive enforcement system that is tearing apart our youth, families and trampling civil liberties. To solve this crisis we will need solidarity from everyone to stand in defense families, students, workers and social services for all.
On May 17th, Students and youth will launch a nationwide week of Action starting here in Chicago. We are encouraging everyone to start planning actions/events at your schools’ campuses. Advertise your events on facebook, e-mails, etc.
Youth, teachers and Parents Unite !!!
We encourage everyone interested in organizing for the week of action to attend our open meetings.
What will you and your school do to fight for legalization starting
May 17th?
