How Can We Stop It?
A public forum hosted by the Pilsen Branch of the International Socialist Organization
Thursday - August 26 - 7pm
Decima Musa, 1901 S Loomis Ave., Pilsen, Chicago
Featuring Lance Selfa, SocialistWorker.org columnist,
author of The Democrats: A Critical History, and editor of The Struggle for Palestine Up-to-date info and RSVP on Facebook:
In the midst of the economic crisis and the declining popularity of President Obama and the Democrats, the right wing is on a rampage, and the Republicans may make significant gains in the midterm elections. From anti-immigrant to anti-Muslim attacks, to hateful rallies by Tea Party and other Republican fanatics, it's easy to believe that the right in the US is on a roll and is re-shaping American politics. How much sway do they have over the population, and how could we stop their impact from growing even more? Come join the discussion about building a left alternative to this bigotry.
