Comandos de Salvamento,  a Humanitarian Aid Group from El Salvador, Visits the Chicago Land Area 

Chicago IL -  Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission is hosting "Comandos de Salvamento" representatives from the country of El Salvador in Central America. "Comandos de Salvamento" is an organization that helps poor and the community in general when natural disasters occur in El Salvador. Besides humanitarian aid, they also provide help at the local and national levels, being on call 24 hours a day 365 days a year. They are well known for their immediate response to emergencies ranging from minor health problems to natural disasters.  

Comandos de Salvamento Representatives, are visiting Chicago and surrounding areas in the coming days; doing presentations of their work and raising funds to bring donated vehicles that will serve as emergency transportation in El Salvador. 

Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission has participated in providing humanitarian aid to Latin American countries when natural disasters occur. Today we welcome "Comandos de Salvamento" to Chicago as they prepare for a full week of events throughout the United States.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission and Comandos de Salvamento will be hosting a press conference on Sunday November 25 at Noon. 

WHAT: Press Conference to announce the visit of representatives of Comandos de Salvamento from El Salvador. Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission and Father Jose S. Landaverde will also be recognize for their extensive work and contributions to the people of Latin America by Comandos of Salvamento
