Immigrant Solidarity Dupage, along with allies in the struggle for justice for the nation's 12 million undocumented workers and their families will be in downtown Naperville, Saturday, June 12 at 2:30 pm, for a counter-protest under the call "In Dupage We Are Arizona!" of the anti-immigrant Illinois Minutemen Project and Naperville Tea-Patriots who will be in rallying at City Hall.
A grassroots organization founded in Glendale Heights in 2007 by Latino community activists and their allies from around Dupage County, Immigrant Solidarity Dupage calls for the immediate suspension of Arizona's Latino-targeting SB 1070 and HB 2281 initiatives and calls on Mayor A. George Pradel and the City of Naperville to immediately boycott the state of Arizona for their human rights violating policy.
Immigrant Solidarity Dupage will be joined by immigrant rights movement allies from Stand and March in Aurora, the Immigrant Youth Justice League, ANSWER Coalition, Solidarity April 17 Coalition in Addison and the March 10 Coalition.
