Discussion with Toussaint Losier, Chicago Anti-Eviction Campaign/Moratorium on Deportations; Evan Lyon, Dept. of Medicine faculty, University of Chicago; Charity Tolliver, Black Thought, Black Action; Benny Lee, National Alliance for the Empowerment of Formerly Incarcerated People. Moderated by Erica Meiners

A workshop will follow in which participants will be asked to imagine budgetary reallocations for the state's nearly $1.3 billion Department of Corrections 2013 budget.
