PRESS CONFERENCE == AND == BANNER MAKING
On Sunday, April 29, two events will mark preparations for the May Day March in Chicago.
FIRST: 10 AM, at a PRESS CONFERENCE at the Anglican Catholic Mission Our Lady of Guadalupe, 3442 W 26th Street, Reverend José Landaverde and members of his congregation will announce they are joining the demonstration on May Day, to join forces with Occupy Chicago, Occupy El Barrio and over 50 other organizations.
The Anglican Catholic Mission Our Lady of Guadalupe has been in the forefront of the struggle against deportations of immigrants without legal papers, and demands a stop to the deportation policy by the Barack Obama administration that has separated thousands of families in the State of Illinois and throughout the country.
