On Sunday, August 8thMarlen Moreno, an Arizona DREAMer, will no longer be in this country.  She is a wife, married to a legal permanent resident, and a mother to two wonderful U.S. citizen children, Freddy Alan who is 3 and Leobardo, Jr. who is just 10-months old. Marlen aspires to be a pre-school teacher and would be a DREAM Act beneficiary. August 10th is Marlen’s birthday, let us help give her the biggest present ever, the opportunity to not be torn away from her family and the opportunity to accomplish her dreams.5,000 faxes is the goal....

Let me tell you something about myself: I’m a son of a worker who went on strike seven years ago. I’m a son of a worker who every single day, rain, snow, shine, hot or cold, would get up early in the morning and get her clothes suited for the right weather and would go out for one more day of fight....

Es un orgullo y un honor estar enfrente de ustedes, inmigrantes jóvenes, estudiantes que han decidido  luchar para cambiar no solo su futuro sino el de miles de jóvenes inmigrantes de este país. No tengo duda de que los jóvenes en todo el mundo están siguiendo con esperanza, respeto y admiración este movimiento que ustedes han iniciado y que quedara grabado en la historia....
