On International Women’s Day, Mexican Women Join to Support National Mobilization for Immigration Reform
Mothers, sisters, daughters urge for solutions for broken system – celebrate their leadership role in the immigrant rights struggle
WHAT: On the International Women’s Day, women leaders from the Mexican community will join to remind President Obama of his commitment to pass immigration reform this year. They will urge him to stop raids and deportations that are currently breaking apart thousands of families and will demand political leaders to work for real solutions to enact comprehensive immigration reform.
Participants will also announce their support for upcoming mobilizations, including the march on March 10th and national mobilization in D.C. on March 21st.
