New release patch (to get the GPL flamethrowers off my back):
http://kinkrsoftware.nl/contrib/cherokee/cherokee-win32-r3678.patch

New release binary:
http://kinkrsoftware.nl/contrib/cherokee/cherokee-win32-r3678.zip

(Install in C:\Program Files, launch with basedirectory C:\Program
Files\Octality\Cherokee)

Release notes:
- Yeaaaah! I got pthreads to work!
- Except for rrd, mysql and dbslayer logically every module is in
- The spawner is not present because of Windows
- The admin is not there because obviously you need a Python
installation too

For your info;
1 Nobody ever tested a Windows release since the official version of
like ages ago.
2 There may be a zillion of bugs
3 If I start PHP manually with php-cgi -b 127.0.0.1:1234 I get
most of the time a 503 error when I press F5, while I get the
page when I press enter in the adressbar, is this normal?
See point 2.

Good stuff !! :-)

I'll try to get most of these changes upstream as soon as I'm back at work.

People, I must say: this guy is my hero! ;-)
Great job. Any Windows testers willing to help getting this polished? :)

I just did what was in the fine manual ;)

If I can give a suggestion; point 3 is very interesting; maybe this
could be a cross platform bug, that never happens because everyone
starts PHP with multiple children. I suspect that the connection is
keep-aliving the php-cgi connection aswell. Hence no fcgi connection is
available -> 503.

Regarding to the other stuff, dbslayer/mysql can actually be fixed
easily with a cross compile of mysql-client.

If there is a windws way to find out if Python is installed I guess
starting up the admin could also rather be done trivially.

Eventually. A part has been already applied. Some work is still left
until the package can be built for Windows out of the box.
