Just to let you know....
I currently lead a mid-size university (26,000+) students in mid-west
US and we have been evaluating CF frameworks for the past several
months. I actually did a blog post on the somewhat disparity of the
state of CF right now....

We are excited to say that we have chosen cfwheels as our framework
for all future CF development. I have been really impressed
particularly with wheels' ORM functionality and the way it has been
created. You guys really paid attention to CF's strengths and its
weaknesses. I love how you have paid attention to object creation in
cfwheels...something that CF has been notoriously bad about in the
past. The speed of the framework is really impressive. In my
research on my post, I have seen that cfwheels is starting to gain the
most traction especially considering how young it is.
In any case, as we start getting into the framework more, we are going
to be heavily contributing to the community. 75-80% of all our apps
are built using CF8. We have even built a CMS that currently hosts
400+ websites for the university. One of our first projects is to
begin to refactor the CMS using cfwheels. We also have a pretty solid
infrastructure setup for hosting if the community needs any help in
that way.
Thanks for making such a great framework!
