Hi,

I've started the confluence update, but the license no longes support
update/upgrades. Also, the version is so old that we don't have the
server id thing and we can't get a evaluation version for it.

Atm, I rolled back to the old version.

Should got get a new license or wait for a response for Roelof's Jira
Studio request?

Cheers,

The same.

I'm waiting you guys pick an option. If we should wait for the
atlassian response for the suite or if we should try to get a new
license for it.

The app is already installed on the server, I just have to switch the
target on the tomcat config.

If the app is already installed, then just try to get a new license.
And if Roelof's Jira Studio request comes through it doesn't really
matter because Confluence is just another one of the bundled
products.

Henry,

There are couple of nice plugins that I think would be useful to install:

https://plugins.atlassian.com/plugin/details/16393 for official
documentation
https://plugins.atlassian.com/plugin/details/171 for syntax coloring
https://plugins.atlassian.com/plugin/details/247 this one is one
provides additional formatting and is one of their most popular plugins,
although it might be too 'fancy'
https://plugins.atlassian.com/plugin/details/12204 OpenSearch impl.
Allows to add Castle search to most modern browsers, and search from there.
https://plugins.atlassian.com/plugin/details/271 - usage statistics
might prove useful
https://plugins.atlassian.com/plugin/details/229 - activity tracking
https://plugins.atlassian.com/plugin/details/197 - better tables...
https://plugins.atlassian.com/plugin/details/142 - this can help us
fight spam bots and vandalism
https://plugins.atlassian.com/plugin/details/144 - another approvement
plugin
https://plugins.atlassian.com/plugin/details/131 - allows users to mark
pages for review by admin
https://plugins.atlassian.com/plugin/details/4926 - this looks like the
best plugin to tame fake accounts

I may have missed some valuable plugins so add whatever you think is
worthwhile.
Some plugins are redundant, but I can't decide which ones are best based
on little information and screenshots they provide there.

cheers
Krzysztof

I don't know if it's a good ideia ask for a confluence license while
they are evaluating the studio request. Why do we need a studio
license if we'll gonna to deploy the tools on our server (they would
ask)?

Roger. I'll install them as soon we get a license.

I've submitted a support request to have all these plugins installed
in http://castle.jira.com
