How to omit the "index.php?p=main" in the url?

The "Name" in Skinvars will automatically display the default main
page link. But it also shows "index.php?p=main" in the url. Is it
possible to omit that? So when one click the name of the site, it will
display the default page with the root url of the site in the address
bar.

OK. I got the answer. Putting the code like this:

<h1><a href="$$fieldURL">$$name</a></h1>

in "code.skin" inside the <div id='top'> tag.
