Yes Karthika ji...it is 

Lingini in Sanskrit, 

Shivalingi in Kannada, 

Diplocyclos palmatus (Syn: Bryonopsis laciniosa var.walkeri), 

of the family Cucurbitaceae

The plant as such is a foul smelling one... It is pungent, Laxative

A Medicinally very important drug 

The seeds & roots of which are mainly used to help conception in Women, 

The Fruits: commonly used by the folk as an Aphrodisiac..

Also different parts of the plant are used in headache, Tongue Paralysis, Delirium, Convulsions, cough, flatulence, dermatoses etc.,
